My role at LVAH is to greet clients, answer the phones, and follow up with patients. You will also see me assisting with appointments and with general hospital and animal care.
I grew up in Waterloo with my two sisters, mom and dad. We have always had family pets, a dog Chloe, a cat Tiki and our most recent darling little Gracie, a five year old poodle. I have a degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Environmental studies, but have always had interests in more animal related fields.
To say I have a love of animals is truly an understatement. For as long as I can remember I have felt very deeply for all living things, and found such importance in all lives no matter how big or small. Any amount of suffering I saw—an ant struggling in a pool of water or a dog with its tale in between its legs—broke my heart. I vowed never to be the root of any pain and have been a dedicated vegan for years.
I hope my compassion and desire to learn and grow with Lincoln Village Animal Hospital will comfort owners when bringing their furry family members into the practice. My goal here is to make every animal feel safe and loved as much as possible and ease whatever discomforts they may have. Being around animals in a helping capacity is an amazing feeling and I am so happy to be a part of such a wonderful and caring team.
